The Line-up

We’ll turn to you, our beloved audience, to share a moment from your life that could have been straight out of a romantic comedy. Picture it: the meet-cute, the awkward dance of attraction, or the serendipitous encounter that could rival any Hollywood script. Through a brief interview, we’ll capture the essence of these enchanting tales. Then, buckle up for a 25-minute rollercoaster ride of laughter, love, and unexpected twists as we bring these scenes to life. Our performers will become your favorite fun uncles, weaving together an unscripted comedy set filled with nostalgia, romance, and genuine joy. The Broken Bones: Injury into Cinema
The Broken Bones presents ‘Injury Into Cinema’. The Broken Bones will interview an audience member about an injury—be it physical, emotional, or other—and we will all heal together through comedy and your favorite genre. Injured on a date? A Romcom show! During college? Teen film! At a hounted house? Horror time! The cast has some of DC’s funniest improvisers who have been featured by Comedy Central, The Washington Post, NPR, aas well as comedy festivals around the US and Europe.
Cast: Erick Acuña, Neil Baron, Geoff Corey, Darnell Eaton, Eva Lewis, Kristina Martinez, Kelsey Peters

What Had Happened Was
Ever wonder what “Friends” or “Full House” would be like with a dash of melanin? This is your chance to find out!  The improvisers of “What Had Happened Was” will take your favorite classic sitcom and reimagine it with a fresh perspective. So forget the reruns and join us before we go into syndication!
