On Saturday, April 11, Washington Improv Theater goes back to school!
On Saturday, April 11, Washington Improv Theater goes back to school as five of the DMV’s funniest collegiate improv comedy groups take the stage for the first-ever edition of CU@WIT.
Starting at 12:00 PM at the Studio Theatre, this showcase kicks off an amazing day of improv that culminates in the finals of the massive Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament later that evening. The lineup features incredible talent from across the region, including UMD’s Erasable Inc, Howard University’s Howard Improv Players, UMBC’s Dog Collar Comedy, UVA’s Amuse Bouche, and Catholic University’s CUA Improv.
This event is a unique opportunity to see the next generation of comedic talent while supporting the local arts community. Tickets are available on a pay what you choose basis, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the show.
As Washington Improv Theater is a nonprofit organization, all donations and ticket proceeds directly support our mission and programs. Join us for an afternoon of creativity and laughter as we celebrate the vibrant university improv scene in the DMV.
