Rachel Kloecker
Washington Improv TheaterRachel is a teacher by day, so let’s be real, she’s always improvising!
Rachel loved acting in high school and college, so she was thrilled to get into improv in 2023 as a means of reconnecting with her love of theater. After being pulled up on stage at an improvised murder mystery in Norfolk, VA while visiting her sister there, she eagerly looked up improv classes in DC upon her return, and the rest is history. In addition to taking the regular WIT curriculum, she had the privilege of taking Hannah Piper’s narrative improv class where she fell in love with narrative. She is now beginning on two Indie narrative Indie teams in addition to performing in Table Talk in summer 2025. The WIT community is one of her favorite parts about living in DC. She also loves improv because it is a way to be immersed in joy, silliness, and laughter- because let’s be honest- we need more opportunities to laughs in this crazy world!
Rachel loves to (needs to!) be in nature regularly- running, hiking, etc. She is a high school science teacher, is endlessly curious, and loves nerding out with her students on a daily basis.
