Peter Tzeng
(he/him)
Washington Improv TheaterPeter thought his creative days were behind him, having peaked at age 10 when his short story was published in Highlights Magazine.
But after expressing a want to scratch an artsy itch, encouragement from a friend led him to nervously take the WIT Level 1 Class in 2022. Those nerves soon turned into pure joy as he discovered that playing make believe with your friends is just as fun now (on a stage) as it was on the playground. Since completing the WIT curriculum, he has competed in FIST with the team Monsters Under the Bed and performs with the indie team Sweeter Things.
Outside of improv, Peter works in Government Affairs. You can also see him walking into book and record stores, telling himself the lie that “We’re only in here to look – we will NOT buy anything today.” He spends his days trying to turn his dog into a pet influencer (@yoshi_biscuit) and his nights seeing live music and theater. Peter also volunteers with Rural Dog Rescue as their Adoption Events Coordinator and serves on the board of the DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival.
