Meghan Burns

Meghan’s first introduction to improv was doing bits with her brother at the dinner table, providing equal parts entertainment and annoyance to their parents. That’s showbiz, baby!

After some supportive bullying from her partner, family, and friends, Meghan began taking the WIT curriculum in 2024, which she completed in summer 2025. She’s performed in Palooza and competed in FIST. She performs with two Indie troops: K’BAM! (a 4-person team born out of the 2025 FIST tournament) and Femme&M (an all femme and nonbinary team that started up in summer 2025). Meghan is new to the Harold program as of fall 2025 and excited to continue learning! She’s come a long way from the dinner table bits and being the lead in her 8th grade play, but the inner child performer lives on.

When Meghan isn’t performing on stage, there’s a good chance she’s at home doing bits and making up impromptu songs with her partner, Will, and singing them to their cat, Tucker, who pretends he doesn’t love it, but obviously does. Meghan is an auntie, civil rights attorney, at-home baker and chef (usually pasta, because she’s Sicilian, and her DNA is made of noodles), bookworm, sports fanatic, and hype woman. She loves to hang with friends and finds all opportunities to make people laugh, including herself, and especially when times are dark, because laughter is medicinal!
