Washington Improv TheaterMatt wasn't a theater kid growing up, but once he took his first improv class, he realized he was always meant to be one.
Matt took his first improv class at Improv Boston in late 2023 as a way to meet new people after college, and it was one of the best decisions he ever made. In February 2024, he moved to D.C. and immediately joined the WIT community. He made his way through the WIT curriculum and even formed an indie team (77″ TV) with his Level 4 classmates.
Matt finds fulfillment by building connections with people, and the greatest gift improv has given him thus far is tons of great new friendships. Outside of improv, he is an avid chess player, software nerd, and a member of a 10+ year fantasy baseball league with enough lore to warrant a documentary.
