Marcy Coburn
(she/her)
Washington Improv TheaterMarcy was born in West Jamestown, New York, and her first performance experience was as a petunia in a grammar school recital.
Just kidding–real fans know that is the origin story of Lucy Ricardo, probably the single most influential person, real or fictional, on the brain of young Marcy. Marcy, like Lucy, has always loved addressing problems that she herself created by constructing elaborate plots and ruses that almost never work as intended. She has leveraged her minimal acting talent and considerable enthusiasm to participate in plays and drama club productions ever since she was little, and started doing improv in high school. After a long hiatus, a genius friend encouraged her to get involved in improv again. She is having a ball.
Marcy loves family-style Italian food, encouraging benign misbehavior in dogs and cats, and science fiction.
