Kate Fridley

Kate started doing improv to get out of her comfort zone and hasn't gone back in yet (it's nice out here).

Before improv, Kate’s only theater experience involved hiding under the stage in the pit orchestra. She fell in love with improv because it allowed her to suspend self-judgement and discover ‘the funny thing’ together with supportive people.
Kate completed the WIT curriculum in 2024. In addition to being on a Harold team, Kate performs with the indie team Yes, You! and founded the horror-comedy group 28 Beats Later.
The highlight of her improv career was the time Studio Theatre let her host a potluck onstage even though it overlapped with Improvapalooza due to a scheduling error.
Outside of improv, Kate can be found swing dancing, playing Rocket League, hanging out at the renaissance festival, and eating an entire pizza after biking 50 miles.
