Washington Improv TheaterKate started doing improv to get out of her comfort zone and hasn't gone back in yet (it's nice out here).
“Before starting WIT classes in 2023, Kate’s only theater experience involved hiding under the stage in the pit orchestra. She fell in love with improv because it allowed her to suspend self-judgement and discover “”the funny thing”” together with creative and supportive people.
In addition to completing the WIT curriculum, Kate has appeared in Improvapalooza and has been smacked down every year at the Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament. She is now on a Harold team and performs with the indie group Yes, You!
Outside of improv, Kate can be found swing dancing, playing Rocket League, reveling at renaissance festivals, and eating an entire pizza after biking 50 miles.
