Washington Improv TheaterA Maryland native, John's life mission is to prove to his dad that improv is actually good.
John first performed improv as a member, and eventual creative director, of the acclaimed University of Maryland comedy group The Bureau. After college, he took classes at WIT and graduated from iO’s summer intensive program in Chicago.
As a kid, John wanted to be a primatologist, but now spends his work days teaching middle school music, which he swears is more fun than it sounds. If you ask John what music he’s listening to, it will probably be something obscure like a Colombian jazz harpist or a mariachi punk band.
