Hassan Abdelhalim

Hassan first started doing improv before the Obama administration, the first one. He took his first WIT class in 2011 and his second in 2025. In between, Hassan moved, watched every episode of the original Twilight Zone, and studied at UCB, ComedySportz, the PIT, and the Second City Conservatory before ultimately succumbing to complications arising from enrollment in grad school.
He was born in Sudan and grew up in Charlottesville—egg w/ American on everything (real ones know). Hassan is 5’11 (we exist) and 6’0.5” w/ sneakers, and during freshman year of college got really into Texas hold’em and that one weird OAR album. Outside of WIT, he can be found walking his rescue pitbull mix, Coolio Malcolm Xavier Hendrixx Iverson-Moss Halim, while listening to Fresh Air w/ Terry Gross or via airdrop as “Will Smith’s Best Friend.”
