Dominica “Dee Dee” Bowden

Thanks to her military experience, Dee Dee is serious about being silly.

Dee Dee brings the kind of energy to improv that makes people sit up and think, “Oh, we’re doing this today.” She’s all about bold choices, grounded characters, and creating the kind of supportive moments where everyone feels brave enough to try something weird or justifiably unexpected.

Dee Dee’s improv experience started in 2019 with a mix of both short-form (as a main stage player at Comedy Sportz San Antonio) and long-form (as a cast member of House Party Improv in San Antonio). At WIT, Dee Dee is a member of the fun troupe Strategic Cheese Reserve.

Dee Dee also teaches improv with the Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) and applied improv professional training with WIT@Work. Her classes are fun, focused, and refreshingly honest – thanks to her passion for helping people experience self-discovery, empowerment, and teamwork! She firmly believes the skills we can learn in improv are applicable to life – because let’s face it, life is one big improv scene anyway.

Outside of improv, Dee Dee’s a screen actor, voice over artist, and self tape audition coach. As a 20-year Army Veteran, she’s also a master of organizing, a self-proclaimed PowerPoint Ranger, and an Excel Enthusiast. As a fitness and movie fan, when jogging she imagines her playlist as the soundtrack to her fight scenes.
