Washington Improv TheaterDave never lies. Luckily, there is truth in comedy.
For Christmas one year, Dave’s partner gave him the gift of improv. Dave was new to town and his partner knew that classes at WIT would help him make friends and express himself artistically. Three years later, Dave is still at it! Having previously studied and performed at iO and Second City, Dave is thrilled to have found his place at WIT.
Dave’s life has been one long sequence of Yes, AND!
Skip first grade? “Yes, AND I’ll be social awkward for years to come!”
Work at an ice cream parlor? “Yes, AND I’ll make waffle cones from scratch!”
Attend the College of William & Mary? “Yes, AND I’ll do theatre and join a fraternity and study abroad!”
Sail the seas as a youth counselor for Royal Caribbean? “Yes, AND I’ll work on the inaugural team for a brand new ocean liner!”
Work in event planning? “Yes, AND I’ll do it at a bowling alley!”
Embark on a brothers’ cross-country road trip? “Yes, AND I’ll visit all 50 states!”
Become a park guide? “Yes, AND I’ll do it inside a cave!”
Go on vacation to Key West? “Yes, AND I’ll meet my future partner at a pool party!”
Become a full-time park ranger? “Yes, AND I’ll move to Louisiana!”
Relocate to DC to work in the Communications Office of the National Park Service? “Yes, AND…”
