Betty has always had a soft spot for comedy and wanted to try improv as she had done stand-up and been doing bits with friends for as long as she could remember. She took her first improv class with Baltimore Improv Group and fell head over heels. You don’t have to do any prep for this class and you get to make your classmates and teacher laugh (sometimes)? Yes, please! She later had to move to DC and finished her training with WIT.
Betty was given the superlative by her high school economics teacher as most likely to win a hot dog eating contest and donate the winnings to a non-profit… she would say that still pretty much sums her up.
