Vote for WIT as the Best of D.C. 2026!
It’s that time of year again! Washington City Paper is conducting its annual Best of D.C. Readers’ Survey, which aims to celebrate what makes the DMV unique.
WIT needs your help in getting enough votes to be named the Best of D.C. in the following categories:
- Best Art Class
- Best Arts Nonprofit
- Best Date Night Activity
These are all areas where we’ve come out on top (Best Art Class and Best Arts Nonprofit) or as the runner up (Best Date Night Activity) in the past.
How does it work?
The initiative is entirely reader driven. City Paper’s audience votes for the “Best of D.C.” and the winners, runners-up, and finalists are determined by the number of votes each business or organization receives. Please note, voting ends on June 10 at 8 PM!
How to vote:
- Visit Best of D.C. 2026.
- Sign in at the top right on the black bar OR create an account if you haven’t already. (You will need to enter your name and ZIP code and verify your e-mail. This is just to ensure robots aren’t taking over. City Paper promises it won’t do anything with your information.)
- Next, click on this link and it will automatically take you to WIT’s page.
- Hit continue.
- Type “Washington Improv Theater” in the text box and a drop down option will appear.
- Click on our name and hit vote.
- Do the same for the other two aforementioned categories. (They will automatically appear one after the other when you hit “vote.”)
Et voilà! That’s it. It’s an easy way to help more people learn about WIT, including our classes and shows (which really do make for a great date night activity or friends night out!)
