Notes for Advanced Scenework with Billy Soco
Take a deep dive into improv with individualized feedback.
We’ve got fundamentals down, now let’s focus on advancing our scenework through individualized feedback and considerations around long-form technique from an outside perspective.
This 5-hour workshop will go between stand-alone scenework and form-based reps so students receive notes both on the content of scenes and on structural choices like edits, timing, and other ensemble-driven support.
This workshop is best for students who have completed at least 3 subsequent levels of long form improv, teams who want to continue to develop together and, generally, improvisers looking for space to work stuff out in a constructive and supportive environment.

ABOUT BILLY
Billy Soco is a NYC-based actor, improv teacher, facilitator, and voice artist of Chilean and Filipino descent. He teaches at The Second City Conservatory and serves as Artistic Director of Megawatt, the house team program at Magnet Theater, where he also teaches improv and musical improv.
Billy has taught and performed internationally and is founding producer of Shoes Off, an all-Asian improv comedy collective. Known for authenticity, playful exploration, and strong ensemble habits, he helps improvisers build connected relationships, clearer points of view, and dynamic scenes.
