Sistine Robot + Nox! + Commonwealth

WIT's shows at DC Arts Center are as hard to predict as the winter weather. Each performance by our company ensembles and special guests are spontaneous and exciting, but probably unlikely to close the federal government.

Nox!’s stories are fueled by the mantra “get weird,” resulting in comedy that is often dark, physical, and patient. What does this all mean? It means Nox! is a close-knit group that thrives on disaster, the bizarre, and our mutual love of fashion and shopping.

Commonwealth was formed for the greater, common good of improvised comedy. They are a body of persons joined together by our common objective and interests to not only make you laugh, but also to make you stand and cheer for the truthful, comedic power of united individuals. Commonwealth is a society where mankind has risen together to break the limitations of our minds in order to form a more perfect union of our imaginations.

Sistine Robot performs its format: the Shmarold (a modified Harold). The Robots are one of DC’s longest-running indie troupes.

These shows are presented at DC Arts Center in the heart of Adams Morgan.

Please note: Early shows in Wintry Mix begin at 7:30 PM. Washington Improv Theater strives to ensure its shows are accessible to all audiences at our home stage at Source. However, our guest venue DC Arts Center is not accessible to wheelchair users and may be challenging to patrons with limited mobility. If you have accessibility questions, please email us at wit@witdc.org.
