A cast of  fluent Francophones and one performer who knows no French at all unite in the universal language of improv.

People of the District
Come see DC differently through the eyes of a fascinating local resident in this interview + improv comedy exploration of life in DC. This show’s guest is Alex Schroeder, a proud DC resident
Cast: Erick Acuña, Stacey Axler, Geoff Corey, Richie Khanh, Eva Lewis, Jordana Mishory, Tim Montgomery, Nic Small, Kelsey Peters.

Guest: A DC resident for more than 7 years, Alex Schroeder has fallen in love with the city and likes to share that love with others online. As @AlexEating on TikTok, he romanticizes DC life and shares relatable everyday moments. He also runs the @DevourDC foodie Instagram account, and is a founding member of the new DMV Besties meetup group for young adults in the DMV area looking to make new friends. He is also a proud graduate of the WIT DC program.

Pricing and Ticketing

Please pay at the level you are able. Online sales end one hour before curtain. Door tickets are $20. For all shows, unclaimed tickets may be resold at curtain time. Late arrivals will be seated at WIT’s discretion.

COVID

Per Mayor Bowser’s mask mandate, masks will be required for audience members. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required. Please be prepared to show your vaccine card, legible photo of said card, or insurance information, along with a photo ID.

Note: All actors are fully vaccinated, and will be allowed to remove their masks while on stage. They are also required to stay at least six feet away from audience members while unmasked.

  • The black box theater at Source is ground-floor and wheelchair accessible. WIT can set aside front-row wheelchair space upon request, with no need for the patron to reserve a specific seat.
