Spurred by a single audience suggestion, WIT’s creative performers spontaneously build entire worlds populated by colorful characters and situations. Each performance is a one-of-a-kind show, never to be seen by another audience.

VI Lenin: VI Lenin explores the world and characters around us just as soon as we figure out what they are, sometimes before. If the devil is in the details, VI will find that devil and ask he (or she, could be a she) what its like to be there, and why she spends so much time there. What’s wrong with other places, devil? Get out and come to one of our shows!

Cast: Nick Murawski, Joe Uchno, Rich Nyman

Sistine Robot: Sistine Robot is one of the Washington, D.C. area’s longest-running independent long-form improv teams. The Robots have taken the stage at Washington Improv Theater, the Baltimore Improv Festival, the District Improv Festival, the Providence Improv Fest and the Del Close Marathon. They host the venerable monthly show “Enjoy an Appletini with Sistine Robot” in the basement of a local gay bar. With a style that is both smart and silly, Sistine Robot is proof that robots CAN learn to love.
