Cake Bagel + King Bee + Improv Actually
Road Show: Wintry Mix - February 7, 2015
WIT's shows at DC Arts Center are as hard to predict as the winter weather. Each performance by our company ensembles and special guests are spontaneous and exciting, but probably unlikely to close the federal government.

“You hear me buzzin’ baby. Some stingin’ goin’ on. Well I’m a king bee.” – Muddy Waters
Once a Harold team at Washington Improv Theater, King Bee’s energy and memorable characters earned them a spot as a one of the theater’s company ensembles. In addition to performing the “pretty flower” format, the Bees most recently devised the improvised soap opera The Stingers and the Stung.
Catch one of three encore performances of WIT’s hit show from Seasonal Disorder: Improv Actually. A romantic comedy inspired by the movie Love Actually, the project pools talent from nearly every WIT ensemble and Harold team. Follow our cast as they meet each other, fall in love, and (probably) live happily ever after.
Cake Bagel is as whimsical as pink icing and as savory as smoked salmon. Or at least that’s what they tell themselves to justify pre-show carbo-loading. Bold, character-driven and super-fun, a Cake Bagel show is like having your cake…and eating a bagel, too.
These shows are presented at DC Arts Center in the heart of Adams Morgan.
Please note: Early shows in Wintry Mix begin at 7:30 PM. Washington Improv Theater strives to ensure its shows are accessible to all audiences at our home stage at Source. However, our guest venue DC Arts Center is not accessible to wheelchair users and may be challenging to patrons with limited mobility. If you have accessibility questions, please email us at wit@witdc.org.
