Spurred by a single audience suggestion, WIT’s creative performers spontaneously build entire worlds populated by colorful characters and situations. Each performance is a one-of-a-kind show, never to be seen by another audience.

Couch Money- Couch Money is a fun and energetic long-form indie team made-up of 8 friends who met while going through the WIT curriculum and just couldn’t get enough of improvising together. Couch Money has played at the Charm City Comedy Project, Highwood Theatre of Silver Spring, Laugh Index Theater’s Summer Improv Medley and as a guest in WIT’s Harold Night.

The Lodge- Upon receiving the password from the audience, an ancient secret society reveals the great secrets of the world while initiating the lucky few present in the DCAC into its elite academy of the knowing.

King Bee- Once a Harold team at Washington Improv Theater, King Bee’s energy and memorable characters earned them a spot as a one of the theater’s company ensembles. In addition to performing the “pretty flower” format, the Bees most recently devised the improvised soap opera The Stingers and the Stung.

These shows are presented at DC Arts Center in the heart of Adams Morgan.

Please note: Early shows begin at 7:30 PM. Washington Improv Theater strives to ensure its shows are accessible to all audiences at our home stage at Source. However, our guest venue DC Arts Center is not accessible to wheelchair users and may be challenging to patrons with limited mobility. If you have accessibility questions, please email us at wit@witdc.org.
