About the guest

Raffi is a D.C based personal trainer and fitness instructor at 305 Fitness. He continues to channel his creativity with his best friend and local D.C drag queen, NuNu Paris on their video/audio podcast, Wait! Don’t Do It. On the podcast,  the duo highlight black and brown experiences that continue to be underrepresented in mainstream media, while satirically analyzing pop culture.  Raffi is a fiery Leo that lives for DRAMA, on stage that is. Originally from Port Chester, NY he grew up in a traditionally first generation Salvadoran-American household. Raffi credits his parents for instilling courage and resilience growing up brown, gay, and fat. In his youth, he channeled his angst and self-doubt into writing screenplays.
