Come see DC differently through the eyes of a fascinating local resident in this interview and improv exploration of life in DC. First we interview a special guest about their life, their vocation and passions, and what makes DC special to them. Then we improvise a fun and freewheeling montage of scenes inspired by our interview. Produced by Erick Acuña, ICDC has a rotating cast for each show.

Cast: Erick Acuña, Elizabeth Fulton, Rosie Grant, Xavier Padin, Kristina Martinez, Diego Hernandez, Kate Symes, Richie Khanh.

About the guest

Karen Vidangos is a social media specialist at the National Portrait Gallery. Since 2017, she has managed the website, Latina in Museums, exploring and highlighting the work of the Latinx community. What was initially a personal project to research the state of cultural institutions turned into a driving mission to open up a dialogue on how we can center Black and brown stories in the museum field. She graduated from the University of Maryland with an undergraduate degree in art history and George Washington University, with a master’s degree in museum studies.
