contest4improv4humans

Teams of three or four improvisers will perform a 20-minute show in the style of the podcast. A panel of judges will select one team from the shows performed and recorded at WIT to advance to the national contest, where they may be selected by the improv4humans staff as a finalist!

WIT will present these performance sessions (with live audience) for free in the Rehearsal Room at Source.

The Line-up

Banana Phone
Better than your average wireless service provider, Banana Phone is an improv house troupe at the Charm City Comedy Project in Baltimore, MD.

Jos. A. Banksy
You’re going to like our subversive street art. I guarantee it.
Knowing us, it will probably be a little bit dark.

Porkchop Volcano
Porkchop Volcano has been performing in the DC area for over 4 years now. Fast paced improv and great chemistry is what they do best. They have been seen at the DC Improv and Arlington Cinema Drafthouse as well as performed with Dave Coulier (Full House) and Kevin McDonald (The Kids in the Hall). With write ups from CBS-DC, Brightest Young Things, and The Washingtonian, Porkchop Volcano is a troupe not to be missed.

Cerise
Cerise is sweet, bold and just tarty enough to make your mother blush.
