“And, Scene!” is a recurring show through the Washington Improv Theater (WIT) that pairs scripted actors with improvisers to perform scenes from plays. The actors stay on script while the improvisers make up the other half of the scene! The 50-minute show moves through five theater tropes: dialogue (one actor and one improviser do a scene); spectacle (one actor and one improviser do a scene with props); focus and dramatic moment (one actor and one improviser do a scene, and either person can launch into a monologue); cast of characters (one actor and one improviser do a scene and a second improviser joins); and mood and atmosphere (one actor and two improvisers do a scene and music/sound effects are added).

Actors: Maryanne Henderson, George Kassouf, Joseph Crea, Emily Morrison

COVID safety

Masks are required for all patrons in WIT performance spaces. WIT encourages the use of medical-grade masks (like surgical masks). Please bring your own mask.
