Share the Joy!: A Musical Celebration Benefiting WIT’s Improv for All Workshops

Anyone who's been to a WIT Improv for All workshop knows the thrill of being able to drop your worries at the door and have fun! We're putting on a show that will help deliver the joy of improv to every corner of the District!

Details

Date:
Thursday December 3, 2015
Time:
8:00 PM
Price:
$25 (includes $13 donation to WIT, which will be DOUBLED by the DC Commission)
Become a sponsor for $75 and cover the instructional costs for an entire Improv for All workshop!
Location:

We’re throwing a party featuring performances by musical powerhouse iMusical and fan-favorites Going to the Movies Alone. Every dollar raised will go towards presenting Improv for All workshops at more than ten venues across the city including Anacostia Arts Center, the Petworth Citizen and Reading Room, and the Georgetown Neighborhood Library. This year, we’re bringing free improv experiences to every ward of the District!

But it gets even better! Thanks to WIT’s third consecutive Upstart grant, the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities will DOUBLE your donations through April 1! We’re raising $15,000 and we’re already more than one-third of the way there.

The ticket price includes:

  • admission to the show.
  • a $13 tax-deductible donation to WIT (which will be doubled to $26!).
  • a cocktail reception after the show.

Help support Improv for All workshops like this one at the Deanwood Neighborhood Library in Ward 7.
