Scene into Song with Elaine Colwell
Discover the joy of improvising songs and the craft of musical theater.
Learn how to put your thoughts and emotions into improvised song and take your scenes to the next level. No need to be an experienced singer! You will learn how to turn every song you improvise into a full-blown musical number.
This eight-week class will teach the basics of incorporating improvised songs into scene work, culminating in a class performance night of improvised musical theater. Topics to include initiating song structures in the moment, emotional integrity, and general music theater technique. Students will learn from iMusical member Elaine Colwell.
