The Wonder Years + Santa’s Funhouse + Commonwealth

WIT ensemble Commonwealth headlines tonight. Hot off the heels of their high-concept sitcom from this summer’s BINGE run, Commonwealth will run their special holiday-themed show.

In the Wonder Years, an audience’s suggestion of a memorable holiday moment is turned into an improvised seasonal tale. A “future” adult voice of a character will recount his/her adolescence of crazy family members and events.

Two performers (Topher Bellavia and Dave Johnson) start with a grounded relationship between two characters in Santa’s Funhouse. Pretty soon, a few more personalities come into the scene and all hell breaks loose with a holiday character invasion.
