Kara Kinsey
Washington Improv TheaterKara is from the exotic lands of Shreveport, Louisiana and is a master of backhanded compliments and blessing peoples' hearts.
Kara first started a flirty love affair with improv in high school when she formed an improv club in order to spend more time with a certain dreamy wrestler she was crushing on. That romance was not to be as he started dating Jessica (which Kara was totally not bitter about at all – never even thought about it again – boring Jessica who?). Despite the tragedy, Kara formed a lasting passion for improv and comedy. She completed the WIT curriculum in 2017.
Notably, Kara has had an on-again, off-again relationship with stand up comedy so if you see her out on stage with a mic in hand, just be supportive she will make up her mind one day. If you want to start up a conversation with her just bring up Turbo Kick, Zumba, or any exercise class. She is an instructor and cannot shut up about it.
